executing Bespoken Project Developments (BPDs) or a Project based
Product Development (PPD) for the customers. |

Dicetek has proven experiences in providing customers, a complete
solution based on the BPDs. By this method, Dicetek has developed
solutions for the customers whose business processes are handled
manually using paper, MS Office Tools to an integrated applications
on the Client Server or Web Solutions as per the customer's
requirements. Dicetek is a vendor organization that provides
services to customer across the globe. Whenever a vendor is to
develop some software for a customer, a clear understanding is
required between the two parties for transacting it as a business.
Dicetek's BPD Framework helps the customers to have the clear
understanding of the project.
1. Customer will be briefing their current business process, work
flow, physical data flow, etc., Dicetek Business Analysts (BA)
receive the information and convert them into requirements for the
system. Some customers will require a formal RFP, Request for
Proposal, which will be given to vendors to collect the quotations
for comparative purposes.
2. Dicetek propose the solution, proposal, contract for the
customers to review and sign off. Once the contract is signed,
Dicetek BAs will start the process of getting the detailed
requirements based on the initial requirements, and document the
study document (SRS) for the customers to approve it.
3. Dicetek Project Managers will generate the schedule with all the
tasks involved and handover to the client.
4. Dicetek Project Team in on-site location, will create the Design
Specifications, Proposed Solution to the customers for their
understanding, review and sign off. Once the Design Specifications
are signed off, Dicetek will freeze the requirements, design and
then proceed to development.
5. Dicetek off-site/off-shore development team will do the
programming based on the design specifications provided by the
on-site team. Dicetek's on-site team will coordinate with the
off-shore team for the technical, functional aspects of the system.
Off-shore development center team has a specific QA processes of
testing the application by bottom-top, top-bottom approaches of
black-box testing, operational / navigational and functional testing
of the application developed.
6. The application source will be uploaded to Dicetek Singapore FTP
Server on a daily basis and then it is tested by the PL in on-site
and PM for sending to User acceptance test by the Users. UAT will be
based on the original requirements signed off by the users during
the initial phases, in case of any changes will be considered as
Change Requests and PM will generate the CR process activated for
the customers to approve it.
7. After the successful sign off of UAT by the users, the
application goes live as per the customers location requirements as
mentioned in the SRS documents.
8. Dicetek provides 1 month warranty for the customers from the UAT
Acceptance Date, to fix the issues if any, found after the
application is Live.

::: PPD-Project based Product Development

Dicetek provides
customized development for the customers who are planning to develop
a software application product, on the specific industry verticals.
Dicetek will do the product development as a project and hand over
the developed product source codes, Property Rights to the customer,
which will be helpful for the customers to sell the product to
different customers. Depends on the customer's requirement, Dicetek
will also participate as an authorized implementations, trainers for
their products.
